What I work on: My job as policy manager is to develop and contribute to educational and advocacy campaigns in the areas of Child Health and TB and Education. I work to educate and engage our grassroots network, the public and decision makers on the importance of working to eliminate barriers to access to health in order to improve development outcomes. By working with dedicated volunteers and like-minded partners RESULTS aims to ensure that even the hardest to reach children have access to life-saving health care.
My professional background: Prior to joining RESULTS, I worked as a Parliamentary Affairs Officer at the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development as well as a development consultant for the United Nations Development Programme in Kathmandu, Nepal. I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Global Political Economy from the University of Manitoba and a Master’s Degree from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA), specializing in Human Security and Development.
Why I love working at RESULTS Canada: I love being part of an organization that has a proven record of success in advocating for high impact, low cost poverty solutions. Furthermore, the level of commitment and dedication of the staff and volunteers is truly inspiring!Back
