Join us for a conversation with Mr. Mayunga, a Tanzania child health doctor, about the importance of vaccines and immunizations in reducing child mortality.

Since 2010, the Canadian-driven Muskoka Initiative has greatly improved child mortality, but more progress is needed. In 2012, more than 6.6 million children under the age of five died from preventable diseases.

Today, more than 22 million of the world’s poorest children still do not receive basic life-saving vaccines. From 28 May to 30 May, 2014, Canada is hosting the “Saving Every Women, Every Child: Within Arms Reach”  high-level Summit in Toronto. Will Canada’s helping hand continue past 2015?
