Tuesday, February 26th, 2019 in Blog

The webinar is over but you can watch the recording here:

RESULTS Canada invites you to join an interactive webinar during which we will hear from Loyce Maturu a young powerful advocate for youth living with HIV. Learn what is being done by Canada and the world to fight HIV, tuberculosis and malaria, and what you can do to help!

About the speaker:

Loyce Maturu is 25 years old and was born with HIV. Before the age of 10, she lost both her parents and her brother. Loyce had a difficult time growing up with HIV and accepting her status but is now a powerful advocate, for children, adolescents and young people living with HIV. Loyce will talk about how the epidemics of HIV and tuberculosis have impacted her life, and the opportunity Canada has this year to help ensure these epidemics are ended around the world.

About the webinar:

Join the conversation on Tuesday, March 5 at 12pm ET! This will be an interactive discussion to learn about the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, how it helps save the lives of millions around the world, including Loyce, and what you can do to ensure this life-saving work continues. The webinar will be in English. Questions in French are welcome. We expect the webinar to be about 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Please try to join a couple of minutes before the starting time to make sure we start on time. Contact us at [email protected] for any questions.
