A world free from hunger, poverty and needless suffering where people thrive and contribute to their communities and the world. We see a world where citizens actively voice their concerns to their elected officials and thereby choose the poverty-related policies and priorities of their governments.
RESULTS combines the voices of our passionate grassroots activists with strategic grass-tops efforts to leverage millions of dollars for programs and improved policies that give the world’s poorest people the health, education, and opportunity they need to thrive.
Grassroots Education and Action: At the heart of RESULTS are our volunteers – people from all walks of life who learn about the issues and also take strategic action calibrated to achieve maximum impact. Actions might include letter writing to decision makers or politicians, generating media pieces, or speaking effectively on our issues.
National Staff: Along with supporting the grassroots, staff members direct, develop and implement strategic advocacy, media and public awareness campaigns. RESULTS also draws strength from working with partners in number of coalitions.
Working Together Globally: At times, RESULTS affiliates around the world also come together at the global level to work on concerted multi-national campaigns to leverage additional awareness and resources to address issues of poverty and needless suffering.
